Scan

Open the app, point your iPhone camera at a face. Live tracking activates instantly. No LiDAR. No external hardware. No studio required.

Export & build

Download a clean 4-file package. Drop it straight into Blender, Exocad, Unity, Unreal, or your own character pipeline.

What you get per scan

A 4-file package that drops straight into your modeling, measurement, or digital twin pipeline.

face_model.obj
Clean mesh, retopo-ready. Drop into Blender, Unreal, Unity, or any DCC tool with no cleanup needed.
all_landmarks.json
Full facial landmark set in machine-readable JSON. Covers the standard anatomical reference points.
selected_points.json
Custom point selection for your specific workflow. Pick only what your pipeline needs.
measurements.csv
Precise facial measurements for validation, simulation, and Exocad-compatible dental & medical workflows.
One scan. Four files. Every file is independently usable — import the OBJ into your renderer, feed the JSON to your avatar engine, pipe the CSV into your measurement tool. No lock-in, no proprietary format.

Built for teams that work with faces in 3D

Every workflow that needs real facial geometry, not guesswork or stock models.

Game studios

Faster character iteration from concept to in-engine. Real scan data beats manual sculpting for hero characters and NPCs alike.

Character artists

Real facial data as a modeling reference, not guesswork. Capture a face in minutes and use it as the ground truth for your sculpt.

Avatar platforms

Precise face-to-avatar pipelines at scale. Landmark data maps cleanly onto rigged skeletons for accurate personalization.

Digital twin teams

Simulation-grade facial geometry and measurements. Sufficient accuracy for facial analysis, matching, and twin fidelity validation.

Dental / medical R&D

Exocad-ready exports with anthropometric measurement data. Bridges the gap between mobile capture and clinical software.

R&D prototypers

Real anthropometric data for fast experiments. Skip the photogrammetry setup and go from idea to data in one capture session.

Frequently asked questions

No. A standard iPhone camera is all you need. FaceScan 3D uses software-based face tracking — no depth sensor required. This means it works on the vast majority of iPhones in circulation today.

Yes. You can pick the specific landmarks you need for your workflow. The custom selection is exported as selected_points.json alongside the full landmark set, so your pipeline receives only what it actually uses.

OBJ for the mesh, JSON for landmarks (both full and custom sets), and CSV for measurements. Every format is industry-standard and opens directly in Blender, Exocad, Unity, Unreal, or any DCC tool without conversion.

Landmark and measurement accuracy is sufficient for simulation, avatar matching, and facial analysis pipelines. For clinical use cases we recommend validation against your specific tolerance requirements — the CSV export makes this straightforward.

Face tracking is live — you see the mesh update in real time as you move. Export is near-instant after capture. The entire capture-to-file workflow takes under a minute.

Scale your face capture pipeline

Stop waiting on studio scans and manual modeling. Launch better workflows for game dev, avatar creation, digital twins, and real-time production.
